Seeing a caution prompt in Chrome?

New extensions show a “not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing” notice for their first few months. This is normal, and it applies to about a quarter of all Chrome extensions, including well-established ones. URLCheck is safe to install, so choose Continue (or Keep) to proceed.

New to URLCheck? Read the quick-start guide.

Two steps to get started

  1. Add the extension to your browser

Find URLCheck in the Chrome Web Store (for Chrome, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi). The button above detects the right store for you.

  2. Sign in to start your free trial

After installing, click the URLCheck icon in your toolbar and sign in, or create an account. Your 14-day trial begins immediately. No card required.

If your browser isn't listed

Available now for Chrome, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi. Edge and Firefox coming soon. All via the Chrome Web Store, desktop only. Safari and mobile browsers aren't supported yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. We're working on Safari and may add more in future releases.

After you install

Click the URLCheck icon in your toolbar to open the popup, then sign in or create an account. Your trial starts as soon as your account is active.

During the trial the extension is fully functional: all features, no restrictions. Subscribe before the 14 days are up and your trial carries over; if you don't, the extension stops working but your account and settings are saved for later.
